Our story
Where we began
Our story started years ago at a creative writing group for people with disabilities, where Adrian was a participant and Laurie led songwriting sessions. Adrian and Laurie quickly formed a deep friendship. Though the group is no longer active, Laurie and Adrian's bond and musical partnership flourished. Now, we meet almost every week, pouring ourselves into new songs.
We cant be contained
Legless Nomads doesn't fit neatly into one box! As two creatives who thrive outside conventions, we blend pop, punk, country, blues, and indie folk amongst other genres. Our inspiration comes from everywhere to create a sound that is uniquely ours, telling stories that we hope everyone can relate to in their own lives.
What next
We're just beginning our journey, but our dreams are big. Currently, you can find us at open mic nights around the Sunshine Coast. Our sights are set on performing at local music festivals and sharing our original songs on all major streaming services.
