Don't Let The World Bring You Down

Many moons ago Laurie wandered into my home, probably thinking we would have a few laughs, write some lame songs and he would be on his way. Instead, he was mocked mercilessly, laughed at rather than with (he loves it, its ok) and we wrote a banger of a song. 

Don't Let The World Bring You Down is about facing life head on and deciding that no matter what hand you are dealt, you will keep on keeping on.   

The chorus really says it better than anything else i could share-

  "Will you just fade away to nothing

                                Or will you stand up and shout, Here I Am  (here I am)

   And no matter what they say,   you  matter

                       Don’t let the world bring you down "

This song was the beginning of the Legless Nomads song writing quest to take over the music world . Since then we have written roughly 50 more songs, all while developing a writing style completely unique to us. 

We are finally ready to start releasing our music to the world (looking at you Laurie), and we are excited to take you all back to the very beginning with the up coming release of  Don't Let The World Bring You Down.

Our unique songwriting process

At the heart of Legless Nomads is a truly collaborative and innovative songwriting method. Adrian, using facilitated communication, crafts the lyrics, while Laurie composes the music live, often improvising as Adrian adds lyrics.  Adrians lyrics inform Laurie's Music and Laurie's music inspires Adrian's Lyrics. This real-time,  connected approach makes every song a shared creation.
